With these tools you can turn your beads, V cuts, plane and turn pegs and fillets. As they are round they roll more easily than the traditional skews. They are ground at 2 degrees off square. The ¼” Skew Chisel is a very handy tool for smaller diameter work e.g. miniatures, bobbins, etc. as well as turning shallow boxes. All these tools are manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) and come with a hand turned handle.

This 3/8” Box Scraper tool is suitable for making boxes or face plate work. Simply use it as a scraper with the tool handle higher than the cutting tip. When turning to the inside edge of the box, simply turn the tool slightly to your left to prevent the tool from snatching on the side of the box.
